EVA's Recommendations
Based on the six facets of the analytical framework, I support the investiment in WIRIS for the following reasons:
1. The market focus of WIRIS covers from K - 12, as well as higher education and publishing houses. In addition to public and private schools, there is also a great potential for WIRIS to work together with different publishers, learning management systems, as well as resource providers in the areas of math and science education.
2. WIRIS offers the infrastructure needed to deliver mathematical and scientific content. While this provides a specific subject focus, it also allows for flexibility. Teachers have the freedom to create resources using WIRIS tools.
3. WIRIS has a variety of buyers including K - 12, higher education, learners, institutions as well as school districts. The business opportunities extends beyond just the K - 12 school system.
4. Currently WIRIS has a market target in North America, Europe as well as Asia. WIRIS is actively participating in different conferences all over the world to promote their products. There are plenty of opportunities for expanding their market.
5. WIRIS is used in countries that support the import of content and infrastructure. Any countries in which there is a growth of online education will be a possible market for WIRIS.
6.According to Capterra, Moodle is #1 among the top 20 best learning management systems available. WIRIS is the only software package that offers mathematical/scientific computing capabilities and automatically assessed quizzes through Moodle. While there are other online softwares that allow online mathematical computations, WIRIS is the only software that works seamlessly with Moodle.
In addition to these 6 facets, WIRIS also has a team that includes co-founders Daniel Marques and Ramon Eixarch. These two founders started the company, Maths for More, in 1999 and continue to work together.. The team also consists of a sales manager, business developer for Chinese accounts, training manager as well as a support manager. Both Daniel Marques and Ramon Eixarch hold a mathematics degree. Other team members have backgrounds in arts, marketing, international business, and engineering. The training manager, Albert Cerus, also had teaching experiences in high school and universities. The experiences of the team members complement one another. The dynamics of the team allow the company to develop innovative and practical educational products.
Based on these six facets and the management team, I support the decision to invest in WIRIS.

However, as online education evolves, existing learning management systems are also undergoing constant upgrades, and there will be new learning management systems available. WIRIS is expected to keep up with the ever-changing world of online education in order for investors to remain interested in their company and products.
